Anthony Odundo

Anthony Odundo is an accountant by profession. He holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree (Accounting major) from the University of Nairobi and CPA qualifications. He has had over 15 years of professional experience working as an accountant, financial manager and financial consultant with international NGOs based in Eastern and Horn of Africa. He posses strong analytical, financial management, grants program management and internal audit skills gained, especially, during the 6 year period that he worked as Finance and Operations Manager for AED projects based in Eastern Africa Region. As the Nigeria MAPS Finance and Grants Manager, Mr. Odundo provides overall financial oversight and control for the 5 year MAPS project. He is also responsible for budget performance monitoring and management; financial compliance with FHI 360/USAID rules and regulations; oversees grants awarded under the MAPS project and manages cash-flow and fixed assets inventory. Prior to joining MAPS Nigeria, Mr. Odundo served in senior managerial positions under several NGOs and PVOs – notably AED Kenya, Pathfinder International, American Refugee Committee, United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), World Vision International, among other organizations– and was responsible for financial analysis, budgetary, office start-up, procurement and financial activities, and financial reporting to donors. A native of Kenya, Anthony is fluent in English and Kiswahili.
