In his capacity as MAPS Implementation Director and Private Sector LLIN Specialist, Mr. Oluwole Adeusi plays a critical role as the link between policy and general direction coming from the Federal level in Nigeria and project coordination and implementation at the State, LGA, and community level in the project's focus states. Mr. Adeusi also leads MAPS efforts to increase the availability and use of LLINs in the private sector.
Mr. Adeusi offers nearly 20 years of experience in managing and implementing national-level malaria control and prevention programs. As the Country Manager for AED's NetMark Regional Malaria Program in Nigeria, Mr. Adeusi managed staff and operational activities while also providing technical assistance to State Ministries of Health, NMCP, and other malaria stakeholders. Mr. Adeusi possesses a keen understanding of the public-private health environment in Nigeria and has extensive experience in developing and implementing strategies for public-private partnership and engagement. Before joining FHI 360 (formerly AED), Mr. Adeusi held several management positions with pharmaceutical companies.
Mr. Adeusi holds an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management from the University of Lagos and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria.
