The T-MARC Project is pleased to welcome Dr. Charlotte
Cerf as the Project's Resident Advisor in Tanzania, effective December
15, 2008.
Dr. Cerf brings over twenty years of experience in managing and
consulting on a range of programs and projects, eleven of which
have been USAID-funded projects in Africa. As Chief of Party for
the Egyptian NGO Service Center, a USAID funded project, Dr. Cerf
successfully mentored the Egyptian team to make the transition to
an independent and financially sustainable civil society support
organization.
Dr. Cerf has also served as a executive mentor and advisor to the Office of President of Tanzania and to the Ministry of Finance in Egypt, using a range of approaches to address needs and manage the institutional capacity building activities.
Dr. Cerf comes to T-MARC from the TUNAJALI Program, a PEPFAR-funded
project in Tanzania that provides care and treatment to people living
with HIV/AIDS. While with the TUNAJALI Program, she worked as the
Capacity Building Manager.
As the T-MARC Project's Resident Advisor in Tanzania, Dr. Cerf will
provide technical, managerial, and leadership support primarily
to the locally managed and controlled T-MARC Company, which has
the lead implementation role for the T-MARC project.
